AMSOIL OE Synthetic Diesel Oil provides excellent protection and performance in both on- and off-road diesel engines for the original equipment manufacturer's recommended drain interval. It is a licensed API CJ-4/SN motor oil suitable for both modern and older diesel applications, including those equipped with turbochargers. AMSOIL OE Synthetic Diesel Oil exceeds the higher performance demands of modern engines and withstands the stress of heat, soot and acids to help prevent deposits, wear and corrosion.
AMSOIL, the leader in automotive synthetic lubrication, produced the world's first API-qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972. Trust the extensive experience of AMSOIL, The First in Synthetics®, to do the best job protecting your engine.
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Diesel Oil is a low-sulfated ash formulation that meets the requirements for low-emission quality diesel oil and protects under the most severe conditions found in modern diesel engines. It is compatible with all exhaust treatment devices and is designed for engines equipped with diesel particulate filters (DPF).
OE Synthetic Diesel Oil is formulated for improved heat and oxidation resistance over conventional petroleum oil for cleaner engine operation, maintaining power and fuel efficiency for superior engine performance. Its dependable cold-temperature flow assures easier start-up and improved engine protection.
Due to its low rate of volatility, AMSOIL OE Synthetic Diesel Oil is able to reduce oil consumption and emissions during operation. It maintains its excellent film strength even during high-temperature operating conditions to ensure dependable protection, performance and fuel efficiency.
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Diesel Oil is formulated with premium synthetic base stocks and robust detergent/dispersant additives that keep soot particles from agglomerating and forming larger wear-causing particles. The OE Synthetic Diesel Oil formulation allows for optimal protection, maintaining performance by staying in the respective viscosity grade.
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Diesel Oil is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils, however, will reduce the performance benefits.
Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL motor oils.
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Diesel Oil is recommended for the intervals stated by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Refer to the owner's manual for the specific oil change interval. Replace the oil filter at each oil change as specified by the OEM.
This product is not expected to cause health concerns when used for the intended application and according to the recommendations in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Keep out of the reach of children. Don't pollute. Return used oil to collection centers.

Re: excellent oil for old pushrod gassers as well
Thank you Chip. AMSOIL has formulated the Z-ROD Line of oils in 10W-30 and 20W-50 for older flat tappet engines. These formulations have a higher content of ZDDP. This meets API SL and earlier specifications. For racing applications look to AMSOIL Dominator.Replied by Tech Admin
