Two-stroke powersports equipment is meant to be ridden hard. Repeatedly pushing a machine to wide-open throttle during all-day, aggressive riding, however, takes its toll on the engine. INTERCEPTOR Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil is specifically designed for reliability and longevity in hard-ridden snowmobiles, dirt bikes, ATVs and PWCs, helping enthusiasts spend more time riding and less performing maintenance. INTERCEPTOR is compatible with nearly all other two-stroke oils and is recommended for most makes and models of two-stroke powersports equipment, eliminating the need to purchase and store multiple types of oil. Two-stroke powersports engines have evolved to run on leaner gas-to-oil mixtures, increasing harmful friction and heat. INTERCEPTOR's synthetic formulation incorporates high-molecular-weight components with high flash points that resist burn-off. As a result, a greater amount of oil survives the combustion process to provide lubrication and protection. Its excellent lubricity and film strength inhibit metal-to-metal contact. In extreme dynamometer testing, INTERCEPTOR's anti-scuff/anti-wear formula completely prevented piston skirt scuffing.
INTERCEPTOR naturally resists harmful deposits due to its thermally stable synthetic formulation. It is additionally fortified with high-temperature detergency and dispersancy additives that provide excellent engine cleanliness. In extreme dynamometer testing, INTERCEPTOR completely prevented piston ring and exhaust power valve sticking for maximum performance. It also limited piston, combustion chamber and spark plug deposits for reliable operation.
INTERCEPTOR was installed in a 2012 BRP® Ski-Doo® Renegade X snowmobile equipped with a Rotax E-TEC 800R engine. Following 50 hours of severe-duty engine dynamometer testing designed to simulate a full
season of real-world conditions, the engine was disassembled and rated for deposits, wear and other distress by an ASTM calibrated rater. Each component earned a merit rating on a scale of 0 to 10 (with 10 representing no distress) or a percentage rating (with 0 percent representing no distress). Used as a premix in a KX85. Burns clean. Spark plug lasts longer than I remember!! Minimal smoke. I will always repurchase a product that is consistently top quality, does the job it is designed to do better than the competition, and falls right in line on price.

I have a motorcycle repair shop and I work on all makes all models. I also own a 1976 Yamaha RD 400 and I wouldn't use anything else but AMSOIL in my bike or customers. Burns perfectly and it gives me and customers confidence that their rebuilt motors are maintained properly.

i use this oil in my 2006 articcat 600 sabercat and a 2009 articcat 800 crossfire. this oil keeps the motars running so smooth and keeps my power valves on both machines very clean i love this oil great product

Have over 17000km on my 08 skidoo sdi 600. Recently did a rebuild on the top end. Inside looked great. Probably could have gone much longer. Have used Amsoil since the 2000km mark. Great product.

I can vouch for Amsoil 2 cycle oil.
I've used other 2 cycle oil brands in my yard equipment and had to keep the rpm up so it wouldn't stall.
I found with Amsoil 2 cycle oil the equipment would idle without complaint and respond when called on.
